Adopted from Stephen king’s novel again, this is another epitome of how beautiful can cinema be. A head prison gaurd played by Tom Hanks and the prisoner played by Michael Clarke duncan who is subjected to death row. It’s most hauntingly beautiful piece of work and sure one of the most emotional you will come across. It’s really a must watch for everyone.

Schindler’s List

Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s list is the best example of timeless movie. Steven especially made this movie in black and white for giving it the sense of timelessness. It depicts the horrifying  phase of Holocaust with the stellar performances of all the characters. It deliberately and slowly fabricate the abode of pain and suffering of the Holocaust around you by beautifully and intelligently shot scenes. Though it’s too difficult to show the event of Holocaust, Spielberg has done a great job showing the story of a Nazi officer and an industrialist saving his co-workers.

The Pursuit of Happyness

“You got a dream.. you gotta protect it”. The movie on the struggle of Chris gardner for actual pursuit of happiness is portrayed beautifully in this movie. The alluring relationship of a father and his son with the real life father-son duo is a point to exalt, because of their excellent and realistic performance. Will smith really nailed it with the character portrayal, making audience to connect with every scene.

3 idiots

Movie with which every student can relate regardless of their geographical positioning and their line of education, 3 idiots is the best example of teaching best life lessons with a comic dose. Raju and Farhan form a great bond with Rancho because of his elusive and refreshing nature. After years later, because of some bet they got a chance to find his long lost friend.

In near future, when the earth becomes unsuitable to live in, an ex NASA pilot take the spaceship with some researchers to find the suitable habitat in cosmos. This movie is both scientifically and cinematically sound with the elegantly composed music.
